The places where Guru Sahibs put feet, that land became precious and holy. The gods-goddess living in the heaven even beg to take holy dust of that place by praying and making requests and remain in its feet. Patna Sahib’s land has got feet touch of many great saints and also it has got feet-touches of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj and Sri Guru Teg Bahadar Sahib and this land became even more precious and holy when Sri Guru Gobind Singh Maharaj took birth at this land. Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj, with his family kept on providing his open presence to the devotees at this land for the precious seven years of his life. Guru Sahib used to go to place with his young friends in the palace of Raja Fateh Chand Maini at the time of his childhood. Raja Fateh Chand Maini and Rani Vishambra Devi Maini were childless. King and Queen were told to make request to get child before Pandit Shiv Dutt, the great scholar and great saint of that time. At that time, you had taken birth with the name of Bala Pritam Gobind Rai Ji, who was having all capabilities, you have make request to him and he can fulfill your desire. Guru Sahib Ji used to go in the places of queens with his young friends to play. He used to make two groups of his friends, at one side, the strong ones and at the other side, the weaker ones and he, himself used to join the weaker group and defeated the other group. Rani Vishambra Devi Ji used to see his these childish, pleasant acts and used to pay in his mind, “Putti ganth pavay sansar” that you may be pleased that she also may get child like him so that his family’s name may keep on continued in the world.
“Ghat Ghat kay aner ki jantu” You Akaal Saroop, Gobind Rai approved the request made by the queen, and one day, while playing, he seat himself in the arms of the queen and said that mother, I am the son of religion of you from today and you are my mother of religion. By hearing childish voice of Guru Sahib Ji, Rani Vishambra became sentimental and she brought tears in her eyes and said, this is desire of my mind that I may also get a son, with that he may join arms with this world. Guru Sahib again promised that you had been praying for a son like me only. Only myself is like me, therefore, I am son of religion for you’re from today and you are my mother of religion. There have been a lot of kings and queens in the world, their connection demolishes from the world after some time and no one remains to take their name even in this world, but I am your kind of son that till this earth would exist, by then your name would remain in this world. By hearing words of Guru Ji, Rani Vishambra gains holy knowledge and then she took Guru Sahib in her arms and loved him so much. Guru Sahib again said that mother, while playing, I became hungry, give me something to eat. Queen asked to the maids and asked to prepare food of 36 kinds. Guru Ji again said to the queen that mother, you had thought of us while getting prepared Prasad of Pooris and Bhungnis in your Langars in the morning that we may eat that food. Therefore, we have to eat Pooris and Bhungnis got prepared by you. By hearing these words, queen remembered words told by Pandit Shiv Dutt Ji that in reality, the all-capable person have taken birth on this land, that is only this Bala Pritam. By thinking this only, her holy knowledge became acknowledged and by falling in love, he got eaten Pooris and Bhungnis to son of religion of her, Bala Pritam Gobind Rai Ji. After eating the Prasad, Guru Ji asked to get his friends also feeded. This Chauj Assu Sudi Ekam Samwat 1225, when Guru Sahib’s childish age was about two years, this incident happened.
When Guru Sahib was about to leave land of Patna Sahib then King Fateh Chand Maini and Queen Vishambra requested him that you have become our religious son and it has become a rule that how can we live without you from today. Guru Sahib Ji told that this is the order of Guru Pita. Therefore, he has to go to Punjab Country. He cannot refuse it but you may daily get prepare and distribute Prasad of Pooris and Bhungnis among the small children, and you would get me joining them in between being present over there. With the passage of time, Queen and King started becoming old then they went to Anandpur Sahib and requested that Sahib Ji, we have become very old now. We kept on getting prepared and distributing Pooris and Bhungnis among the small children after eating ourselves but how would we spend this old age. Guru Sahib called to the Nirmale Saints and Dhan Dhan Sahib Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji’s precious presence’s main page, outside it, wrote Mool Mantra with the needle of his arrow and asked them to make publicity of the religion at Guru Bal Leela Maini Sangat, thereafter, as per laws, Prasad of Pooris and Bhungnis is made and distributed among the small children after Ardaas and ordered to follow this rule in future and left towards the land of Patna Sahib and accomplished the without words-desire of King and Queen.
Even today, at this place, in the morning, after the first Ardas, small children used to sit and Prasad of Pooris and Bhungnis are distributed among the small children. In the room, where Guru Sahib became seated in the arms of the Queen, in Chaugath therein is still the same and in that room, walls are of small bricks, and outside that, service of marbles was got done by the devotees and saints jointly. The front side six stands, those are of stones, these are remaking palace of Queen Vishambra Devi.
The service of this precious place is still being done by Nirmal Sampardaye Kar Sewa Bhuriwale at Takht Sri Patna Sahib for the site seeing of the coming devotees at the Gurudwara Sahib for 24 hours, for the arrangement of Langars and residence of devotees, service of Yatri Niwas of 500 room has been started by Jathedar Singh Sahiban, Sant Mahapurukhs in the present of devotees on 11 July 2010, which still continues. You, all the devotees may make successful this journey by providing body, minds and wealth.
